No, this is a comprehensive, specialized test that requires extensive discussion with our prevention specialists at The Prevention Center.
How will The Prevention Center results help me?
The results can help prevent a stroke, prevent you from developing heart disease or even reverse heart disease by identifying problems early and treating them. They also assist us in finding early signs of diabetes even before symptoms are present.
What is fasting?
Fasting means nothing to eat or drink after midnight the day before you are scheduled to have your blood drawn.
How much will the Boston Heart Diagnostics testing at The Prevention Center cost me?
There is no out-of-pocket cost to patients with insurance.
Should I bring all my medications with me?
Yes, it is always a good idea to bring all of your medications and vitamins with you to your doctor’s visit.
